2. How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:

- Match professionals and providers based on preferences and qualifications
- Generate and display resumes and professional profiles
- Communicate service updates and optional marketing communications (with consent)
- Analyze usage to improve platform functionality
- Ensure platform security and prevent fraud
- Comply with legal obligations
We automatically calculate and collect sales tax when required by law based on your billing address through our payment processor (e.g., Stripe).
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process data under the following legal bases:
- Contractual necessity – delivering services you sign up for
- Legitimate interest – security, fraud prevention, platform improvement
- Consent – optional marketing and cookie usage
You may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
ARKLA does not sell personal information.
If you register as a Professional, you consent to your profile information being shared with registered Providers for legitimate recruitment purposes.
This may include:
- Name
- Contact information
- Certifications
- Resume / work history
- Roles worked
- Skills
- Work preferences
Providers are contractually required to:
- Use information only to evaluate candidates for job opportunities
- Not resell or distribute personal information
- Comply with GDPR, CCPA, and applicable privacy laws
We may also share information with:
- Trusted vendors (e.g., Stripe, hosting providers)
- Legal authorities if required by law
5. Your Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA you may:
- Request access to your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of personal data
- Object to or restrict processing
- Request portability of your data
- File complaints with regulatory authorities
6. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:
- Provide services

Accounts that remain inactive for extended periods may be removed from the platform in accordance with our data retention policies.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the ARKLA platform.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or accessing the platform, you agree to these Terms and the ARKLA Privacy Policy.
1. Eligibility and Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to use ARKLA.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information
- Maintain secure login credentials
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
2. Permitted Use
Users agree not to:
- Post misleading information
- Scrape or harvest platform data
- Send spam or unauthorized advertising
- Upload malware or disrupt platform operations
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features require a paid subscription.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor.
ARKLA Integrity United does not store full payment card details.
By providing payment information, you authorize ARKLA Integrity United and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees and applicable taxes.
Users may also be subject to the Stripe Services Agreement:
4. Subscription Billing & Cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Users may cancel subscriptions at any time through their account settings.
Cancellation stops future billing, but the subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
4A. Failed Payments
If a subscription payment fails, ARKLA Integrity United may:
- Retry the payment method after a reasonable period of time
- Temporarily suspend or deactivate the account
- Restrict access to certain platform features
If payment remains unresolved, the account may remain inactive until payment is successfully processed.
Accounts that remain inactive for extended periods due to unresolved payment may be removed from the platform in accordance with ARKLA’s data retention policies.
5. Refund Policy
Subscriptions are billed in advance.
Refunds are limited as follows:
- If a subscription is cancelled within five (5) days of the start of a billing cycle you will not be charged for that next billing cycle.
- If cancellation occurs five (5) days or more after the start of the billing cycle, no refund will be issued.
- No prorated refunds are provided for unused subscription time.
Continued access to professional profiles or platform data constitutes use of the service and may make the transaction ineligible for refund.
ARKLA may grant refunds at its sole discretion in exceptional circumstances.
6. Chargebacks
Users agree to contact ARKLA to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback.
If a chargeback occurs, ARKLA may:
- Suspend the account
- Restrict access to the platform
- Recover dispute fees where permitted by law
7. Intellectual Property
All platform software, branding, design, and content belong to ARKLA Integrity United.
Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without written permission.
8. Information Sharing Between Professionals and Providers
ARKLA does not sell personal information.
By signing up as a Professional you authorize ARKLA to share your profile with registered Providers for recruitment purposes.
Providers agree to:
- Use the data only for evaluating job candidates
- Not resell or distribute the data
- Comply with applicable privacy laws
Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
9. Talent Network Protection
The ARKLA professional network is proprietary.
Providers and recruiters may not:
- Harvest large numbers of professional profiles
- Compile external recruiting databases
- Replicate the ARKLA network
- Use platform data to build competing services
ARKLA may monitor activity and restrict accounts engaged in database harvesting.
Unauthorized reproduction or misuse of the ARKLA professional network may result in:
- Immediate suspension of access
- Account termination
- Legal remedies where applicable
These restrictions survive account termination.
10. Account Usage Restrictions (Providers)
Provider accounts are intended only for authorized company representatives.
Sharing account credentials or dashboard access with unauthorized parties is prohibited.
Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
11. User Content
Users grant ARKLA a global royalty-free license to display and use submitted content (resumes, messages, profiles) for the purpose of operating the platform.
Users remain responsible for the legality of submitted content.
12. Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as-is.”
ARKLA does not guarantee:
- Job placements
- Profile visibility
- Platform uptime
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARKLA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
14. Termination
ARKLA may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraud or abuse
- Attempt to scrape the database
- Fail payment obligations
15. Account Inactivity and Data Retention
ARKLA may deactivate accounts associated with unresolved subscription payments.
Accounts that remain inactive for extended periods may be scheduled for removal.
ARKLA reserves the right to permanently delete inactive accounts and associated data after 180 days of inactivity.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States.
17. Amendments
ARKLA may update these Terms periodically.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
